Tennessee Valley Air Center is a leader in Cessna 300/400 series repair and modification and is now performing the Modifications and Inspections that are required for the Spar Strap kit installations. The installation of these kits is very detailed and requires specialized equipment to complete the 450 to 500 hour installation. We have an FAA Designated Engineering Representative for Modifications and/or Repairs as Needed.
All work relating to the Spar Strap modification is directly overseen by the owner of Tennessee Valley Air Center, Jim Achord. He is a licensed multi-engine instrument instructor with over 5,000 flight hours, a licensed A & P mechanic with an inspection authorization, and has over 28 years of aircraft maintenance experience in both military and civilian aviation. He spent over three years as a lead supervisor with the Sabreliner Corporation managing extensive sheet metal life extension modifications, which has proven invaluable in completing the Cessna wing spar modifications.
We are currently scheduling aircraft for modification and also offer FREE pilot services for pickup and delivery. (You pay fuel only) The compliance time/hour requirements for the Inspections and Modification for the AD'S vary with each aircraft's time in service (TIS). If you need assistance in determining the specific requirements for your aircraft or would like more information on the new AD's, please call us.
We are also available for Annual
Inspections, Engine changes, Prop changes, STC modifications, Avionics work and
SID compliance for any 300/400 series work you require. Please visit our
maintenance page for more information.
